| Each Year Island Impact Ministries improves the lives of thousands of people by providing quality health care in our Maranatha clinic. Our vision is to increase the number of people we care for in other poor areas on the north coast. Our big idea is to purchase or rent property and build a new multi purpose clinic in 2009. The new facilities will provide general medical, dental, and eye care services to the people of La Cienega. We invite you to be a part of the vision! | A Picture Paints a Thousand Words..... Many projects funded by charitable contributions place bricks with their donors names on them at facilities such as the health center that Island Impact wants to construct. I recently commented while observing the stone cuttings at one facility, that it was a pity that many of the poor people using the facility couldn't read those names and many of the donors may never see them as well. We would like to place pictures of those who donate to the new health center on the walls of the buildings. We want the people who visit each day to see and know that there are people from all walks of life that care about meeting their needs! After making your donation, simply send us a quality photo of yourself or the loved one you are sending the donation in memory of, and we will place it in the lobby of the new center. |
