YEAR ROUND PROGRAMS
Primary Care Clinics– Two year round clinics provide consultations, medications and lab exams to the poor for various illnesses.A local doctor, support staff, and a pharmacist are employed by Island Impact.
Specialty Care Clinics-In addition to the general medical care provided by the local staff, local residents also receive access to specialty services not previously attainable in the area.

Provide extractions, fillings and cleanings.
Our Vision Care Center
Provides digital ocular exams, distributes reading
glasses and frames, and custom makes low cost lenses
for hundreds of people each year.

VISITING MEDICAL TEAMS
Visiting Surgical Teams –Provide free surgical care.Currently Island Impact hosts a yearly Eye Surgical Team, providing Strabismus and Cataract surgery and a Bi-annual Obstetrics Team.
Mobile Medical Clinics–Visiting Medical professionals from the U.S. and Canada provide the perfect venue for reaching out of the way areas where there are no medical services. These groups are used to screen, initially treat, but ultimately refer patients to the clinics where they can receive care all year round. These medical clinics also provide a place for medical residency programs to educate upcoming medical professionals, exposing them to cross cultural medicine.

Dr. Troy Silvernale, who was raised in Haiti as the child of a medical missionary, Dr. Dewain Silvernale, travels twice per year to bring health and wellness to the people of the Dominican Republic. Troy cares for the people of Munoz, a Haitian migrant camp in the Dominican Republic.
